What We Do

Roof work that actually stops the leak.

Roof leaks on heavy-duty vehicles get expensive fast. Water reaches the headliner, then the interior, then the wiring, then the structure underneath. By the time a fleet manager sees the stain, the damage has been spreading for months. ATEL diagnoses roof leaks, traces them to their source, and repairs them in a way that lasts — instead of squirting another tube of sealant at the symptom.

We work on box truck roofs, transit bus roofs, motor coach roofs and Class A motorhome roofs. Aluminum, fiberglass, TPO, EPDM and composite — each material has its own failure modes and its own repair approach. We carry the materials, the tools and the booth time to do the job indoors and dry.

Roof work is often paired with interior repair, electrical drying-out and refinish in the same intake. Fleet maintenance managers and motor coach owners get a single point of contact from intake through delivery.

Why Us

Why Choose ATEL for Heavy-Duty Roof Repair?

Professional Roof Service for Commercial Trucks, Fleets, Buses, Motor Coaches and RVs

Our Experience

32+ years on heavy-duty roof work

Family-owned since 1994. Roof repair has been daily work since the shop opened — box trucks, transit buses, motor coaches and Class A RVs.

Indoor Capability

Roof work done indoors, dry

Our facility lets us pull a vehicle inside for roof work — no waiting on weather, no sealant applied to wet substrate.

Material Range

Aluminum, fiberglass, TPO, EPDM, composite

Each roof material has its own failure modes. We carry the materials and use the right approach for each.

Leak Diagnosis

Trace leaks to the actual source

A stain in the headliner is rarely directly under the leak. Water travels — we trace it to where the seal actually failed.

RV & Motor Coach Specialty

Class A roof work as a daily service

Class A motor coaches and diesel pushers have unique roof systems and AC penetrations — we know them.

Refinish Coordination

Refinish in-house after roof work

When roof repair touches paint, we finish in our booths so the vehicle leaves the building ready.

  • 04
    Panel, Seal or Recoat

  • 05
    Interior & Refinish

Interior repair coordinated where water damage extends. Refinish completed in our booths if needed.

  • 06

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions we hear from customers

A few quick answers. If yours isn't here, call us or use our contact form.

Do you repair RV and motor coach roofs?

Yes. Class A motor coaches, diesel pushers and Class A motorhomes are routine for us. Aluminum, fiberglass and composite roof systems all in-house.

Can you find a leak that I can't?

Usually. Water travels along the substrate before it shows inside — the visible stain is rarely directly under the leak. We pressure-test, water-test and visually inspect to trace the actual source.

Do you do full roof replacement?

Yes. When a roof is past reseal — corroded, hail-damaged or end-of-life — we replace the full panel or skin to OEM or upgrade spec, refinished in our booths.

Can you reseal AC units and vents?

Yes. AC unit, antenna, vent and skylight removal, reseal and reinstall is daily work. New penetrations cut and sealed to spec when equipment is added.

What roof materials do you work on?

Aluminum, fiberglass, TPO, EPDM and composite. Each material has its own failure modes and approach — we carry the materials and use the right one.

Will my interior need repair after a roof leak?

Depends how long the leak has been active. We assess the interior at intake — headliner, electrical and structural — and quote any required interior work alongside the roof repair.

Where are you located and what areas do you serve?

The shop is at 12120 Conway Rd, Beltsville, MD 20705 — minutes from I-95 and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. Our primary service area is the DMV: Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. Fleet pickup and delivery arrangements are negotiable on contract.
